Paula Levy is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Family & Divorce Mediator and Parenting Coordinator. She has worked in the family and divorce area for over 20 years with children, adults, couples and families. She is an experienced divorce mediator, collaborative coach and parenting coordinator. She has a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fairfield University as well as advanced training in mediation and collaborative divorce. She is a trained Parenting Coordinator as well. She has been a therapist for 20 years and maintains a private practice devoted to helping families with many types of emotional issues including divorce.
Paula is a certified Imago therapist and a level 2 trained Gottman therapist. Her focus has been on infidelity, communication, intimacy and connection.
Ms. Levy has been recognized by the Governor of Connecticut for her work with 9/11 families.
She has also received a “Service to Organization” Award by the Connecticut Association for Marriage & Family Therapy, the statewide organization for Marriage & Family Therapists
She was appointed Special Master for the Connecticut Superior Court in September 2011.
She has been a member of the Marriage and Family Therapy Advisory Board of Fairfield University.
She served as the Chairman of the Election Committee for CTAMFT (Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy).
She has written numerous articles regarding family issues and has been published in many national magazines including Money magazine, Parent magazine and Bride magazine. She has presented for many local and national organizations including the Ackermann Institute for the Family, AAMFT (American Associate for Marriage and Family Therapy), and CTAMFT (Connecticut Association for Marriage & Family Therapy).
Ms. Levy has published a book, For Love and Money, A Financial Workbook, in 2010.
